Description
Eagle Head with Feathers and Turquoise in Silver. Eagle head about 13mm (half inch) tall. Feathers about 25mm (1 inch) long. Chain approximately 18 inches (45 cms) long. Comes complete with liquid silver chain, as shown in the photograph. Liquid silver is a term used to describe a type of sterling silver chain made from tiny tubes of silver strung together. Authentic Native American jewellery, made by the Navajo on the Navajo reservation in the USA. A powerful looking piece of jewellery. The eagle head and feathers have diamond cut markings cut into them, which gives an unusual and glittering finish. Where the eagle head is attached to the chain there are turquoise (reconstituted)beads.
Eagles are powerful birds of prey. When used in jewellery or other items, the eagle symbol can represent a connection between the earth and the higher realms above, where eagles soar in the sky. In Native American culture, feathers symbolise a connection between humans and the Great Spirit.
